SPM English School, participated in SCI- INNOVATE FEST, organized by Bhide Foundation, on the occasion of the Inaugural Ceremony of their Lab. Total 10 teams of our students participated in this Fest.
Our students from Std. 8C, Aarin Sathe, Yash Soman and Darsheel Pawar participated in this Fest and exhibited their project based on sound, called ‘Clap- Bot’ ( Robot) and we are proud to announce that SPM English School secured the Third Prize*!✨✨
This competition provided students with a platform to apply their knowledge and skills to construct a model with the latest electronic apparatus.

In collaboration with KPIT Technologies Ltd., Hinjawadi, the Education Activity Research Centre, Department of Jnana Prabodhini, Pune, organized the ‘V-Solve: Problem Solving Competition’ under the Chhote Scientists Project on Tuesday, 18th February.
Our students from Std. 8 – Rahi Malawade, Chinmayee Bapat, Parth Godbole, and Sudhanshu Bapat – participated in this competition, and we are proud to announce that SPM English School secured the Third Prize!
This competition provided students with a platform to apply their textbook knowledge and skills to solve real-life problems. With 27 schools participating, our students demonstrated exceptional problem-solving techniques, analytical thinking, and creativity.

Marathi Vidgyan Parishad had organized a ‘State-level Science One-act Competition ‘. The students could present on the topics like ‘Scientist and Discovery’ /, ‘Science Story’, and scientific approach in this science one-act competition.
The students of std 5 & 8 participated in the competition .Their topic for the competition was ’88Ra – Marie Curie’ . SPM English School, Pune bagged the first position all over Maharashtra.The play was Written and Directed by: Miss Vaidehi Godbole and Mr. Anmol Deshpande .
Our student from std 6 Ishana Joshi got the Best Actress award and our Fine Arts teachers Miss Vaidehi Godbole ,Mr. Rajesh Gadge won awards for best lightning and Mr. Anmol Deshpande won the awards for Best Direction ,Best Writing and Best Music Composition.
A Hindi Interschool poetry recitation competition was organized on 24th September in the memory of Shri Saneji at S.P.M. English School. The aim of this competition was to develop language skills among students as well as to create interest in Hindi language. Six schools participated in the competition.
Students of class VI and class VII were the participants for the competition. The judge for the competition was Mrs. Prajakta Abhyankar. The guest and sponsor of the competition CA Mr. Shekhar Sane and his family were present on this occasion.The Headmistress of the school Mrs.Rama Kulkarni and the co- ordinator of the secondary section Mrs.Rita Kapoor were present for the event. The Headmistress Mrs. Rama Kulkarni gave detailed information about Mr. Sane and the objective of the competition and also explained the rules of the competition.
Each school selected a topic and presented wonderful picturesque poems with rhythm (Indian) and props. Abhinav English School got first rank. S.P.M English School got second rank. H.H.C.P Huzurpaga School got third rank. Winners were honored with trophy, prize money and certificares.Teachers of participating schools were also honored.
Inter-School Marathi Elocution Competition was organized by Lions Club for students. In mid-level category ( VII-VIII) the students Ira Ranade from class 7C bagged the Third prize and Ira Kulkarni from 7C received the consolation prize.
Marathi Vigyan Parishad Mumbai had Organized Science One Act Competition Preliminary Round Pune Center . Only the first prize winning One act will perform in the final round. SPM ENGLISH SCHOOL ,PUNE won the first prize.

The students were divided into various groups, undertook the challenge of preparing snacks that were not only delicious but also nutritious. Each group was responsible for researching receipes, sourcing ingredients and preparing their chosen snacks.
The preparation process emphasized the use of fruits, vegetables, whole grains etc. ensuring that all items for sale were aligned with healthy eating guidelines. The food snack sale showcased a delightful variety of snacks. Each stall featured a brief description of the nutritional benefits of the ingredients used with valuable information. The judges were the Coordinator of Pre-Primary and Primary Section and the Chief Guest was our Headmistress Mrs Rama Kulkarni.
The students were given the opportunity to present their snacks and explain the health benefits of their creations. Group Nutri Nook were declared the Winners for making Healthy and Nutritious Snack and Group Italian Corner bagged the prize for making the highest sale. The students showcased their act of working in and as a team.
Bharat Vikas Parishad had organised a Quiz Competition ‘Bharat ko Jano’. Our school participated in the competition. Rajas Dadar and Manas Kulkarni – the students of std. 10th – bagged the 1st prize 🏆. Congratulations to the winning team. 👏👏
Report on MATHEMATRIX, 2024 On 11th August, 2024
Poddar College of Commerce, Mumbai organised “Mathematrix”, a math competition for school students. Held on a Sunday, the event saw 23 participants from standard 9 and 10 compete in seven different math related events. Notably, Master Ishan Purohit from standard 10 excelled and secured the second position in the event “Takeshi’s Hustle”. The event helped the students to showcase their mathematical abilities.
