Dear Parents,
S.P.M. Primary Section welcomes all the students and parents to yet another exciting school year. We would like to brief you on some important instructions:
• The school reopens on Thursday, 15th June 2023 for the students of the primary section.

• Kindly note the changes:
1. The school timings will be from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm. The reporting time for children is 9:20 am. Please make sure that your child comes to school on time. Parents are expected to leave their children at the gate.
2. If late, the child will be sent home. Please do not ask for consideration.
3. The P.T. uniform is to be worn on every Thursday (for M.P.T.) and on the day of their P.T. period. The regular school uniform should be worn on the days when they do not have P.T. period.

Kindly note:

1. Parking place for vehicles is not available in school premises. So parents are requested not to bring their vehicles to the school.
2. The sale of books will commence only after the orientation.

Instruction for the payment of fees:

  1. No fees will be accepted in cash.
    2. Parents can pay fees online or by cheque.
    3. Payment of fees by any other mode is not accepted.
    4. Only the exact amount of each instalment mentioned on the fee chart given on the school website must be paid.
    5. Fees to be paid using the given virtual account number.

Parents should check the school website for any instructions or changes.

External exams (Std. I to IV): –
External exams are the gateway to letting students know their educational strengths. These exams enhance the student’s learning capacity, Logical reasoning and scientific ability.

Maharashtra Pradnya Shodh Pariksha (Std. II to IV)
Exam date: Sunday, 21st January 2024

Note: A prior notice will be sent before the exam. The exams will be conducted on the given date mentioned above.

The Brainstorm examination scheduled for the academic year 2023 – 24 is as follows (Std. I to IV):

 Participants should enter the competition at level I (school level). Level I is open to all students.

Recommended SpellBee material will be provided to enrolled students at the level I

Apart from the study material provided by brainstormm, participants may choose to read/refer to any other spell bee resource as deemed fit by school / parent.

Registration fees for Level I is Rs. 250 /-

SpellBee level I exam for standards I to IV will be conducted on Monday, 25th September 2023

A prior notice will be sent before the exam.

Note: Exams will be conducted during school hours by the teacher.
Your ward will receive a detailed external exam circular shortly.

Shrisaj Chitra – Dnyanvardini Academy has organized a competition for the students of standard I to III. The participants have to dress up in historical costumes from the Shivaji Era to Peshwa Era only. (AD 1630 to 1858)

Duration: 1.5 minutes to 2 minutes
Fee: Rs. 30
Competition date: Sunday, 20th August 2023
Interested students should enrol their names with the class teacher on or before Friday, 14th July 2023.
Details will be given later.

Uniforms: –
Please Note –

 1. Students should wear the regular uniform on Tuesdays and Thursdays. (Irrespective of Mass P.T and P.T. periods shown on the class time-table)

2. P.T. Uniforms should be worn on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Follow the same for the entire year.

We are glad that our students are enjoying at school and are well settled now.
We have a list of activities, celebrations and exams lined up for our students.
So let’s take a look into the month of August.

– Tuesday, 1st August 2023: Anna Bhau Sathe Jayanti.
– Wednesday, 16th August: Parsi new year.
– Wednesday, 30th August: Rakshabandhan.

Tuesday, 15th August 2023: Independence day celebration.
Timings: – 7:00 a.m. to 8:15 a.m.
Reporting time for students is 7:00 a.m. sharp.
Dress code – P.T. uniform.
Attendance is compulsory.

– Tuesday, 29th August 2023: Rakshabandhan celebration.

House activity for std I to IV: –
A collage greeting card making competition will be conducted on
Thursday, 31st August.
Theme – Nature/ Flower Vase/ Design
Students should select any one theme and use old, waste materials for the same.
Drawing materials, glue sticks, and decorative materials should be brought from home.
A card sheet for the greeting will be provided by the school.
The last date to enrol for the same is Friday, 25th August (No selection round)

We wish to access our students to see what their needs are and how we can best help them to learn and achieve. As a part of this process, we will be conducting Unit Test I. The exams will be conducted from Thursday, 17th August 2023 to Wednesday, 23rd August 2023.

Kindly note – During the exam days i.e. from Thursday, 17th August to Wednesday, 23rd August 2023, the school timings will be from 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. only.
Students should bring the books according to the timetable i.e. till 1:00 p.m.
Unit Test I portion will be given to the students on Wednesday,2nd August 2023

The timetable of the exam is as follows.

Half days: –
-Thursday, 31st August 2023. Month end. Timings: 9:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Students can wear a civil dress.
A parent Teacher meeting has been scheduled for std I to IV to discuss the performance of your ward.
Day/ Date: – Thursday, 31st August 2023
Venue: – Respective classroom Timing – 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Parents are requested to abide by the timings given below.

The school is organising an educational trip for the students.
Std I will be visiting ‘Rajiv Gandhi zoological park’ on Saturday, 5th August 2023.
Details will be given later in the school calendar.

Please note the change: –
As per the instructions given by the S.P.Mandali, the school will remain closed on 13th, 14th and 15th September 2023. However, these working days, (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) will be compensated with 5th August, 19th August and 2nd September, which are Saturdays as regular working days. Parents are to take note that attendance on these days is mandatory for the children. The timetable to be followed on these days will be given to the students on their calendars.

The month of October and November marks the end of the 1st term. Apart from celebrations and holidays, it’s time to focus on academics since exams are around the corner. Collect all your efforts and give the best of your capability.

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Keeping this view in mind, we have planned some activities for the students.


Monday, 2nd October 2023 – Gandhi Jayanti celebration / Sevak – Sevika day.
School timings: 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
To include the value of dignity of labour, our students will participate in the spring cleaning activity. Students must bring a water bottle and an old napkin. Please do not bring your school bag (bagless day)

Students are permitted to wear festive clothes.
