ENGLISH VOCAB QUIZ
21ST AUGUST 2024

On 21st August 2024, the school auditorium was abuzz with excitement as the English Vocab Quiz took place. The event showcased the linguistic prowess of students from each house, with six participants per house demonstrating remarkable enthusiasm and competitive spirit.

The quiz comprised six engaging rounds, each designed to test different aspects of English language skills.

After a series of closely contested rounds, the Green House emerged as the champion, with the Red House securing the Runners-Up position. The prizes were awarded by Mrs. Rama Kulkarni, the Head Mistress of the school, who praised all the participants for their hard work and dedication and also, the organizing team comprising English teachers and volunteer students.

Friday 16th August

A German paragraph writing competition was organised on 13th August for the 9th and 10th Std students of SPM English School.
The students of 9th enjoyed writing on the topic ‘My school’ and the 10th std students wrote on the topic ‘My trip’ with great interest. It was a good opportunity for children to exhibit their writing skills and pen down their imagination in German language.
Knowing a foreign language not only enhances the communication skills but also opens the window to get acquainted with a foreign country and realises the very Indian idea of ‘वसुधैव कुटुंबकम
